General terms and conditions of sale

Price

Prices are quoted in Swiss francs, including the VAT applicable at the time of ordering.

Availability

Our delivery commitment is null and void in the event of failure or non-compliance with supply deadlines on the part of our own suppliers, and insofar as this unavailability is not attributable to The Goodlife Company SA. In the event that a product is unavailable, we will inform you as soon as possible, and you will then have the choice of being reimbursed.

Terms of payment

B2B - Invoice payment due within 30 days of invoice date. A reminder fee of 30CHF will be added if payment is overdue by 30 days. The delivery of goods will be stopped if payment is overdue by 60 days. Goodlife Company SA reserves the right to add an additional charge of 50CHF and to call in a debt collection agency if payment is 75 days overdue.

B2C - Credit card, GooglePay, Twint, subscription only on invoice

Ordering, delivery and transport

B2B - Available items are dispatched by our delivery partner throughout Switzerland within 4 to 7 working days of the order being placed via the website or by e-mail. Delivery is free for coffee orders of at least 40CHF.

B2C - Delivery within 48 working hours throughout Switzerland as soon as the order is placed via the website. Free delivery on orders of at least 40CHF.

Responsibilities

B2B - By default, delivery of your parcel is only authorised against signature.

B2C - By default, delivery of your parcel is only authorised against signature.

When paying, you have the option of deactivating this option, if you are not at home on the given delivery date, for example. If you choose to deactivate this option, you are responsible in case of loss or destruction of your order after deposit by our delivery partner. The Goodlife Company SA excludes all liability following the deposit.

Exchange or return of goods

In the event of an exchange or return, the items must be returned intact, unopened and complete in their original packaging (with the labels showing their references), within 4 calendar days of receipt of your parcel. You are responsible for the postage costs of the exchange or return. We cannot accept returns or exchanges if the coffee has been ground.

In the case of an exchange, please indicate the new items you would like to receive in exchange. As soon as we receive your coffee, we will inspect it and inform you that we have received your returned coffee. If your exchange is approved, we will send you the new items ordered in exchange and send you an invoice with the difference, if any.

In the case of a return, we will also inspect it. If your return is approved, we will issue a refund to your credit card (or to the original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain number of days, depending on the policies of your card issuer.

Legal guarantees

Check the condition of the goods delivered without delay to exclude obvious material and manufacturing defects, as well as transport damage. If you discover a defect for which we are responsible, you must notify us immediately.

Data protection

All personal data will be treated as confidential. The information required to manage the order will be processed electronically and may be communicated to associated companies for the purpose of managing the order.

Applicable law, mediation and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law shall apply. The Vienna Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply and any dispute shall be settled by the Tribunal d'arrondissement de l'Est vaudois.

The roastery will be closed for the festive season from 25 December to 5 January 2025 inclusive. For delivery before Christmas, order before 19 December. Last shipment on 24 December, then deliveries will resume on Monday 6 December.
