This micro-lot from the Chepsangor Hills Coffee Estate in Kenya, a project initiated by Rosabella Langat, was selected for its "extraordinary" notes. This is an anaerobic process (fermentation of the coffee cherry without oxygen), which is very rare in Kenya. We opted for a light roast, suitable for filter and espresso, to highlight the uniqueness of this coffee. Chepsangor Estate celebrates the women coffee growers of Kenya's Nandi Hills, a magnificent region of rivers and waterfalls with rich volcanic soils. Rosabella is working to support other small-scale women farmers in this region to achieve sustainable production and economic self-sufficiency.
